Princess Rhea

An obvious but valuable lesson.

So I thought I'd repaint this older character design from my unKnown world - Princess Rhea.

I wanted to polish this picture a but what stands on the bad foundations or doesn't work from the beginning makes no sense to maintain or repair. It costs more effort and time.

Somehow I wasn't happy with it from the beginning. It was very crudely drawn and colored. You can look at both versions for comparison.

I still like her "deceptive" look, but I wasn't happy with it before, nor now, so I won't be working on it any further.

That's probably part of the way to learn. Trials and errors.
And that's why don't be afraid to "crumple the paper" and start all over again with clear mind and new energy. ;)

A bit of lore for lore enjoyers:

Princess Rhea was the illegitimate daughter of the semi-legendary King Thrak Akvila. After the Battle of Vultera and the rise of the Tharkan Empire, Rhea began to slowly digest with poison her father-king and turned her brothers against each other after his death. Thus arose the first Tharkan Civil War. Ridding the followers of the throne, she took over the throne and founded her own Rhean dynasty.
