Godfrey's Rebellion / Sigismund's levies

In times of need, Sigismund could muster up to 2,000 fighters.
Most of these levies were Umbrian farmers or Silurian woodcutters. Armed with hunting spears and axes, with short seaxs or daggers and claded in leather and iron, fighting in shield wall formation, they were formidibile force which can hold the line and give time to Sigismund retinue to sieze victory with fierce charge.
