Gouache and pencil illustrations I did in 2016 for my personal project: Punic Wars, after reading ton of ancient books, mainly by Livy and Polybius.
Some of the pictures were disscused by Total War Arena devs. Art director Josh (aka Germanicus Joshmanicus) especialy liked Sicilian hoplite with "shield flag". I was planning and making Xanthippus as new playable general but sadly Arena was canceled. :(
Next: When I finish illustration Battle of Argos I will make new "Bronze age" armies and warriors from my unKnown world.
