After the cataclysmic event known as the Great Flood, the Almarian people were forced to settle in the former Rhomal land.

With a shortage of resources, a small population, and general danger, the Almarians became experts in #guerrillawarfare

Armed with hunting spears, short broad swords, #seax dagger and crossbows in Tharkan #scalearmor they laid ambushes againts Rhomal cavalry invaders.
They carried symbol of sun on theirs helmets and flags.

Rhea was daughter of king Thark Akvila. She become rule of Tharkvilon and she was called as Lady of Sun and Fire.

Rumors says Rhea was daughter of Almarian lowborn woman because she had red hairs.

Another #illustration for GR. I did some changes between #lineart and #digitalcoloring. Inspired by later #romanhistory . Whole concept is mix of #darkages period with #germanic and #huns raids on western Roman empire or Sea people migration and collapse of #bronzeage civilizations.
