Tengri - Asheron warrior
New illustration of fantasy Tengri warrior for my unKnown world (world building art book).
The character design for the "Empire fall" story, where the kingdom of Asheron finds itself during a civil war. The Asheronians are the new ruling caste, but the original Tengri hold to the old traditions, and so conflicts arise between these people.

My passion is to collect different references for my art designs.
Pinterest is a great source of inspiration and I have thousands of ideas saved there, but I rarely look at them when I'm creating.
I'm like a sponge, I absorb various stimuli and then subconsciously mix them and transfer them to the canvas.
I find that too many references affect my original idea of what my character should look like, so I only use refs when I need to look at things like armor detail etc.
