Godfrey's Rebellion / Rhean warrior

Rhean veteran infantryman with falchion

During the first war with Rhomals, before the great flood that divided the Known world, the king Rhesus sent a considerable detachment of soldiers to cut off the Rhomalian retreat. However, the rivers became irrigated and the warriors found themself in enemy territory without the possibility of returning home. These men built a new stronghold in a foreign region where they settled.

They built their fort of black stone from the nearby mountains. They burned the forests and planted fields on ashes. Because they had lost their homeland and had no king, they called themselfs Sons of Rhea - according to their goddess of fire and sun.
