Lament of the Giants / God of War

Music always had great influence on me and lot of my work is directly inspired by music I have listened.
And when music has a great story behind it, it makes me very emotional.

So I end up doing digital painting of giant inspired by God of War (2018) game and its soundtrack.

And because Bear McCreary is phenomenal composer I searched for meaning of Lullaby of the giants lyrics which you can hear in painting process.

I did found out several texts and translation from Icelandic which is language sings in video.
In advance I am sorry about translation mistakes, I don't speak Icelandic and also English is not my native language.

Originally I was doing cover art for new chapter of my fantasy art book (unKnown world) but illustration took different path for two reasons:
1) I tried to make it by my new gouache painting style
(traditional art medium: something between watercolors and acrylic)
2) I was listening God of War soundtrack during making this artwork
