Akvila conquest / Silurian mercenary

Yo my dudes, new #illustration for Akvila Conquest story and Battle of Vultera.

No need to introduce barbarian northman from lands of Siluria.

Here is full #characterdesign of this warrior but this time with background!

My first sketches and #drawing was "naked" warrior in Celtic style. More precisely something like Picts or Caledonians. Then I tough these warriors are mercenaries so they should have better equipment and weapons.

It ends up something in between which is good.

His look changed few times during #coloring phase. Its because I have specific color scheme for every civilization (but sometimes combination of colors doesn't look good).

For example other "celtic" tribes such as Almarians or Rheans using mostly red, blue, brown and green clothes and Silurians empathises mostly green because they live in coniferous forests.

There was no such thing as standart uniforms in #antiquity but I like to imagine during #worldbuilding about purpose of things I showing in my #warriordesign

So Silurians worshiping nature and generally living more "grounded", so green as deep forest, blue as cold streams and brown as earth was obvious color choice.
