Godfrey's Rebellion / Yamna vs Tengri

As the Yamna people tried to find a new hunting ground in the southern regions, they encountered an extremely territorial semi-nomadic Tengri tribe from east.
Yamnas are tried to negotiate, but it didn't take long, and soon the hunting groups start fought to the death over hunted animals and pitty disagreements.

As always I had some troubles to design Tengri hunter (guy with shield). In my book they are still called Rhomals ( based on #huns or #mongols ) but in this #prehistory #illustration I did mix of these tribes with #americanindians which was good idea for #chracterdesign of #fantasy #nomads

Its my third attempt of this #conceptart beacuse I was not quite happy with two original designs. As you can see in #lineart and #sketching some things dramaticaly changed.
