Akvila conquest / Vultera/Prygy coalition troop

Working on #illustration of Battle at Vultera where I simplefied look of soldiers bacause it would took me so much time to draw every detail.

And that bring me to idea.
As part of #worldbuilding I was thinking how these warriors would look like in common "standart uniform" and ornaments as a symbol of theirs coalition.

So I've made this #warriordesign
Originally I wanted to make 3 various types of warriors.
One without armor, second with brestplate similar to #samnite or #roman hastatus style and third with #linothorax type of linen armor.

Turns out somewhere in between with plume helmet (officer?), linen armor reinforced with bronze plates and also with battle axe instead of spear or javelin similar to #etruscan warfare.

I have almost all completed #characterdesigns for all warriors who fought in this battle which you could already saw in my gallery.

Not sure if I will color this piece but I am very tempted to do so!
