This similar ritual was common during #neolithic age in Europe. It was rite and symbol of adulhood when boys become warriors. Yamnaya was real culture in eastern europe and they were first in human history to ride on horses and chariots.
In #ancient times horses was firstly hunted for meat. These horses are called Botai and were much smaller (simillar to #prezwalskihorse ). Sadly they do not exist anymore.
